We are proud to share our latest publication in The Lancet Global Health, which sheds light on the immense burden of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) on children in low-resource settings. This study goes beyond the virus itself—it exposes the heartbreaking reality of hospital bed shortages and the lives lost as a result. It also offers hope: a glimpse of what health care could be when preventable diseases are prevented, and when no child is turned away.

The Lives Behind the Data: Dr. Senjuti Saha on The Lancet Global Health Podcast

"One in five babies turned away. One in five did not make it."

In the latest episode of The Lancet Global Health podcast, Dr. Senjuti Saha reflects on the study and shares the human stories behind the data. The conversation unpacks the urgent need to rethink care—and the hope that moves us forward.

The People Who Make It Possible

A heartfelt thank you to all our team members, donors, and supporters who made this study possible. We also want to honor the parents who generously shared their children’s stories—those denied admission to the hospital, and those who did not see their next birthday. We are deeply grateful for their trust and contribution. As we work toward a future with zero deaths and disabilities from preventable diseases, this study marks a crucial step—ensuring every child has a fighting chance.
